After The Sounding Room, the project continued by engaging more young residents of The White Building in developing skills in photography, sound and mixed media. This second phase of the project aims to explore local culture and issues of The White Building community through the use of visual and audio mediums.

We had a great public performance session last Friday night.  People crammed into the space.  Despite the high-density, it was a touching experience between the performers and the audience.  David, Aun, Sokun and our renowned contemporary dancer Belle collaborated in a memorable improvised music and dance piece.  This was surely part of an exciting learning journey for the team and our collaborators of The Sounding Room.  We hope it also was for the guests.

This year's forum focused on the 25th Anniversary of the Declaration on the Right to Development. Incidental and Sa Sa Art Projects co-presented a paper relating to our various projects, and had the fantastic, but really-quite-intimidating distinction of being the only arts organisations speaking at the forum. We spoke primarily about the potential role of cultural activity in informing, critiquing and enriching more general programmes of international development. We presented The Sounding Room as a case project which attempts to play that role.
